Break the Cycle of Non-Healing Wounds

Chronic wounds don’t just hurt they disrupt your life, drain your energy, and increase your risk of serious infection. If your wound hasn’t shown signs of healing after two weeks, you need more than basic care.

At our clinic, we specialize in advanced wound therapy that goes beyond bandages. Our providers use medical-grade techniques to:

  • Remove damaged tissue (debridement)

Doctor James Shipley

Dr. Shipley founded this division of InStride Foot & Ankle Specialists after opening his first practice, Mt. Airy Foot & Ankle Center, in October 2008. Nearly ten years of providing trusted podiatric care in Mount Airy led him to expand his reach, and today he works alongside his associates to deliver exceptional foot and ankle care across the greater Winston-Salem and Greensboro communities. While Dr. Shipley treats a wide range of podiatric conditions, he has a special focus on advanced wound care for foot and lower leg ulcers. He currently sees patients at our Mt. Airy office.
